Merry Christmas 2009!
Somehow, not only for Christmas
But all the long year through,
The joy that you give to others
Is the joy that comes back to you.
And the more you spend in blessing
The poor and lonely and sad,
The more of your heart’s possessing
Returns to you glad.
— John Greenleaf Whittier
Heap on the wood! – the wind is chill;
But let it whistle as it will,
We’ll keep our Christmas merry still.
— Walter Scott
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind.
To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy,
is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
— Calvin Coolidge
Love came down at Christmas;
love all lovely, love divine;
love was born at Christmas,
stars and angels gave the sign.
— Christina Rossetti
Thank You
As we step into the deep, snowy winter winter woods for a few days of grouse hunting with great friends (one of them a good and loyal dog who will teach us another valuable lesson as she has the most fun of all, while bringing a continual smile to our faces) – we’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and and wonderful holiday season. And then it’s a time for sharing the many blessings we have with family and good friends. More importantly, it’s a time to think of those who are struggling – to be there for them, and to keep them in our prayers.
We feel truly blessed to be in the business of helping others. And we’d like to thank you for letting us serve you. For as the Season reminds us – when you give, you are truly rich.
Again, to those of all faiths – Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a here’s to a wonderful New Year!
Sincerely,
